Traditionally information exhange in the field of Aerospace Acoustics in Germany is organized by the subsection T2.3 "Flow Acoustics and Aviation Noise" of DGLR. The responsible chairman of T2.3 typically invites to annual (one day) workshops about developments in aerospace acoustics. Groups working in non-aerospace acoustics but related fields of aeroacoustics are invited to these workshops to discuss in an open forum new ideas and open questions.

The X-Noise coordinated action of the EU gives an excellent oportunity to support the activities of DGLR in further strengthening the German network of aeroacousticians.
